Sponsoring Parents

Post by Malick15 » Fri May 03, 2019 10:30 am

Dear All

My wife and I were planning to Sponsor my parents on a visit visa from pakistan and I have few question to ask to ensure the application meets the required criteria. we both are British citizen.

1.My wife and I both work for NHS, as per home office requirement you need to produce 6months payslips and bank statements. I have been working for NHS since 2009 So I have last 6 months bank statements and payslips, but my wife started to work with NHS in Januray 2019 so techinically she hasn't got 6 months pay slips,
Can please anyone let me know if the joint Sponsor letter works for us?

2.my wife and I are going sponsor my parents and paying for their trips cost £2.5K as this balance can been seen in our bank statements.

3. My parents doesn't have a bank balance but My father do own 2 properties and have savings in terms of National prize Bonds.there is no dependent on them.

4.I pay for monthly maintenance expenses for my parents and send the money via travel exchange. and my father also recieves a rental income from his property.
5. both of them are 60+ years old.

I would really apprecaite if you someone can help me so i can apply a family visit visa

Regards
Malick

What evidence of strong ties to home country will they submit (social, family, employment, income, pension, property etc)??

It is far less about your financial circumstances.

Sending them money very regularly to support them might actually be a detriment to their visa application as the ECO could take the view that if they need financial support from you, then they have no reason to return to their home country.

Family Visit Visa(Sponsoring Parents from Pakistan)

Post by Malick15 » Fri May 03, 2019 11:37 am

Dear All

My wife and I were planning to apply for a family visit visa for my parents. We are British citizens and my parents live in Pakistan .

I have few questions to ask before to make a visit visa application for them.

1. My wife and I are working for NHS, I have been working for NHS since 2009 and my wife started her job within NHS in January 2019.
as per home office legal requirement a sponsor needs to produce 6 months payslips and bank statement, I can produce my last 6 month payslips and bank statements, but my wife can't produce 6 month payslips if we are going to apply a family visit visa in May2019.

Can you please let me know if a Join Sponsor lettter works for us if we want to apply for visa in May 2019 ? or we have to wait till end of next month when my wife will have6 months payslip from her current employment?

2. My wife and I are going to pay full cost for thier trip £3K which can been seen on our bank statements , is it a sufficients funds for 10-12 weeks stay?

3. My parents don't have a bank balance but my father do owns 2 properties and have national prize bonds as savings.

4. I send monthly maintenance expenses to my parents via money exchange and my father also recieve monthly rental income.

5.my parents are staying in my brother's house who is currently residing in south Korea, do i need to mention about it?

6. I do have a house on a shared mortgage with my cousin brother in UK, Do i need to submit the documents of land registry?

I would really apprecaite if anyone can reply to above questions so i can take appropriate actions.

kind regards
Malick
