Need assistance -- Earnings & Present employer ref. lett

Post by itsme » Wed Mar 23, 2005 12:53 am

Hi Guys,

I need your quick assistance before applying for HSMP.
All the necessary documnets are ready with me.
I am taking my case through workpermit.com who will be applying on my behalf. But I am stuck up with below isues.

a) Past Earnings :- I have salary slips and bank statements showing the past 12 months salary and it exceeds 5000GBP ( i am claiming points for this) . But i will be getting my IT returns only around October or so. Here in India, Form16 is given around june/july and then IT returns comes into picture. My last years earnings 2003-2004 shows less than 5000GBP in my IT returns.
-- Is present IT returns document necesary to claim points under "Earnings category" ??
Please clarify and provide me other alternate methods to get through..

b) REference letter from Present Employer:-
workpermit.com even insists on this !!! but as per this forum i learnt that a ref. letter from colleague is more than suffice in case of present empl.
Guide me.

Apart from above 2 documents i am clear in all aspects...
Your advice is highly appreciable.

Rgds,
itsme

I would say that for your 2nd point on reference from employer, try as much as possible to stick to what your consultant is asking for, they are quite right to insist on it. if you browse thru the forum you will see that the Experience letter is one of the main causes of failure especially when it comes to guys claiming points for senior level
