Hi everyone
I am an ILR holder. I secured it in November 2018.
May I please know on what basis or circumstances an ILR can be cancelled?
I know if an ILR holder lives outside the UK for over two years, this can happen.
Is there anything else which can get it cancelled?
I have sued an institution for very serious reasons.
I feel this instituion may stoop to the lowest level and try to accuse me of things which I have never done. I repeat I am the pursuer of this civil case which means they haven't sued me, I have sued them.
By the way, can I apply for my naturalisation/passport application a bit sooner than November 2019? Or does one really have to wait for a period of exactly 12 months?
Thank you.

You must wait 12 months on ILR unless you are married to a British citizen.
ILR could be revoked if there is deception or false information that HO uncovers in your history.

No, obviously I haven't used any deception or posted any false documents. The docs I shared with court are the exact same docs which were shared with the Home Office.

I requested the defender of my civil case to secure a copy of the documentary evidence from the court directly.
Is that acceptable?
The case has nothing to do with immigration but it does involve an institute who lied to look good before their license provider aka the home office etc.

The Home Office will not be concerned about your civil case. The only things that would interest them would be if there was a claim you made false declarations or employed deception in order to obtain a visa or ILR.
There is no connection or super data connection between the civil courts and the Home Office. So your case will be completely unknown to the Home Office.
If the business you are taking to task makes allegations against you to the Home Office that is a different matter. The Home Office would investigate but only if the evidence supplied in the allegation is worthy. They will not go on a fishing trip just because an allegation has been made without any supporting evidence.

You have right of protection under the law even if you don’t have an ILR but you are legally resident in UK. However now that you have ILR is not different, if anyone therefore want to cheat you will not change that fact. Therefore don’t mix things up.

Thank you for your replies. This has made me feel a lot better. Much appreciated.
Slightly off topic, is it a good idea to apply for the passport with the naturalisation application?

You can no longer apply for the British passport at the same time as applying for naturalisation on form AN.

No

(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
