Tier 2 general Dependent Visa

Post by Maitreyi » Mon Apr 15, 2019 1:49 pm

Applying from India

My husband (Main Applicant) is sponsored by University of Liverpool, which is A'' rated sponsor.
I have following doubts while applying for dependent visa:

1. Can I apply for dependent visa along with my husband when he applies for his visa?
Will there be chance of rejection of my visa as his application would still be under consideration same time i apply for dependent?

2.UoL does not mention regarding financial assistance for dependent in letter of sponsorship, but I do have required account balance, savings in my bank account.
What are the documents required other than bank statement, saving details, TB, criminal record certificate?

3.I am a doctor by profession and working in private set up. Is resignation letter or NOC from from my employer necessary document? Is there a chance of rejection in view of 'potential migrant'?

1. You can apply together.

2. Submit the bank statements proving maintenance funds for 90 days. You need to submit marriage cert or proof of subsisting relationship.

3. No, your employment is irrelevant.

Hello,
We are very anxious as we are getting DIVIDED opinions from our friends who got rejection when applied together. They say the odds of rejection are more when applied together. We also got an advice to apply for dependent AFTER (10-15days) main applicant's submission/approval of visa so that we can mention REFERENCE NUMBER during dependent's application.

Any suggestion on this?

Thanks.

Proof of relationship: Tier 2 dependent visa

Post by Maitreyi » Wed May 08, 2019 10:36 am

Applying from India, dependent visa.
Primary applicant (my husband) still to receive visa. I am applying with his GWF number.

For documents required regarding relationship(other, non mandatory) I have been suggested to submit :

1. A marriage certificate or reasonable equivalent for me and my husband.

2. A proof of relationship to your partner, for example marriage or civil partnership certificate. (Exact wording)

I assume a valid marriage certificate will support both requirements. Or do I also require to produce recent what's app chat history/ emails/ proof that both of us are living together/ photos? I do not understand need and possible proof for 2nd document in my case.

Thank you in anticipation.
