He is applying in the beginning of March. Oh so he can get the result within 24 hours but another £610 will be charged!!!

After my husband get ILR, I think I will still have problems when I doing the online form.. As he’s no longer a Tier 2 visa holder. But I’ll see how it goes first. Thank you.

Not sure why you believe you will have problems, when the immigration rules specifically state you can apply as a PBS dependent on your own.

Many have done this and been successful.

I am applying for an extension since my husband just granted ILR yesterday. The application form is actually quite clear and I don't think I will have problems with the application.

But there's one question I am confused about:
"Length of Certificate of Sponsorship grant
What is the length of (my husband's name)'s Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS)?
1. 3 years or less
2. more than 3 years"

As my husband got two CoS (2+3), which one they are asking about? The current CoS (3 years) or the total length of the two CoS (5 years)?

Most recent Tier 2 CoS.

There should be a questions somewhere also which asks if the main Tier 2 visa holder has got ILR.

Yes I answered that ILR question before this CoS one, and that was also the reason I wondered why UKBA still wants to know the length of my husband’s CoS.

Thank you!!

I tried to pay the health surcharge, and the online form asked me to fill in my husband's "visa" expiry date. Since he has been granted ILR, I thought it was asking it's expiry date, which is 31-Dec-2024. Then the system asked me to pay 4800 in total (me and my daughter)!!!!! Now the system doesn't let me to go back and edit my answers. Should I start a new application? And did I fill in the wrong answer? Should I fill in my husband's tier 2 visa expiry date, which is 30-Mar-2019?

You need to put the ILR expiry date as 3 years from now to get the correct £1200 IHS fee per applicant.

If you are unable to change it, you will need to start again. I hope you haven't paid the visa fee yet??

If I put the ILR expiry date as 3 years from now, then I would be providing an incorrect information?

Just now I tried to pay IHS without linking my application, but when I clicked Sign In, the system go straight to "4800-PAY NOW" page.

No I haven't paid the visa fee. It looks like I have to register a new account first and then start a new application or I can't pay the correct IHS fee. This is frustrating!!!

No you are not. It will have NO effect on the application. HO is very aware of this glitch and 100s have done this and had approvals without any issues.

You will likely have to start the whole application again.

My daughter and I had a new service appointment on 21st March, and so far we haven’t received the decision letter. Today, DX delivered my daughter’s BRP only. Do you think it’s a mistake that HO forgot my BRP? Or should I contact them or should I wait for a few more days?

Hi,

I received a letter from DX and got my BRP on 8th. It seemed DX forgot to drop the second notification card last week since the letter was dated two days later than my daughter's notification card. But I never receive a decision letter. Anyway, now my husband got permanent residency and my daughter's and my visa have been successfully extended. Thank you CR001 so much for your help!! We really appreciate it.
