After a very stressful day yesterday I decided to post about my experience at VFS global for scanning supporting documents to Sheffield. So we got there for around 12:30, you have to wait until your number is called for someone to scan your documents. Your documents should have barcode separators and all should be photocopied, they do not accept originals! So at 4:00pm we were still waiting and they said the system had broken down which was frustrating as they were phoning all kinds of people panicking about the situation which made me panic! At 6:00 they asked all remaining people to pay and they would call us when they got updated and sent.
So as soon as we left the centre and they Locked the doors I received a phone call to say they have been sent, but due to the big crash in the system I was unsure as to wether they really were sent or not.
I am so worried because my brother in law heard them on the phone saying they had mixed everyone’s documents up

Also if anyone has been through this, is there some sort of email confirmation we would receive from the home office to confirm they have received the documents?
Thank you
