Post by skravin » Fri Jun 27, 2008 6:25 pm

Hi,
My EC for Tier1 / HSMP is rejected for maintenance funds requirement.
I got my HSMP approval letter dated 4th February and applied for EC on 26th May. Got a refusal letter on 25th June.

Claimed 95 points + English Language Requirement + Maintenance Funds. Applied for Tier 1 Visa and sent all the original documents once again as per the advice of VFS.

1. PF / PPF is not considered a savings account and the funds are not *immediately* accessible. You can only withdraw a portion of your holdings, and withdaw entire amount from PF only when you switch employers (withdraw from existing and start a new account with new employer). See here.
2. Read this. Though the post (linked) relates to shares, I *think* the same analogy would apply for DEMAT.
3. Balance in your savings account was below the min. requirement during the three month period. The condition is that you must maintain min. balance every day of the three month period.

On what grounds do you wish to apply for administrative review? Unless I have missed a points somewhere or have interpreted your explanations incorrectly, I don't think administrative review will help your case.
