I recently submitted my Tier4 General Student Visa application to UKVI - paid IHS, Standard appointment fee. At the time of application submission I selected Lucknow, India as VAC where it was mentioned that it should be same as the centre you select in VFS. I selected this centre as it was near my Home town and was coming in the list.
To my surprise, Post submission of application (next steps) when I tried to book an appointment - No appointment were available for this centre, I contacted VFS India Tech support and they replied back after 2 days that Standard Appointment is not available at this VAC. Bloody hell. You should have clearly mentioned this in your VFS website, right? Anyway, I replied back to them and have not received anything back.
I am now confused and frustrated that should I cancel my application and re-do all the steps again or Can I select a different VAC from VFS using the same application?
Any thought? anyone face this type of issue before?
