Hi everyone, here is my timeline

Country applying from: Mumbai North

Type of visa applied for: settlement (wife)

Priority/Non-Priority: Non-Priority

Online application submitted: 13/03/2019

Biometrics submitted: 13 March 2019 (walk-in appointment for 3000INR)

Documents sent to VFS Scanning Hub in Manchester by sponsor: 19/03/2019
(£75 for scanning all documents)

Email stating ‘your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer’: 10/05/2019
(Is this a good sign)

I am still awaiting for decision email.
I was looking at my credit report on Noddle.com and I found HMRC completed an Identification check on me on 03/05/2019. Nothing to worry about but I thought it was interesting! Now fingers crossed we all get the results we hoping for.
The same situation
Country applying from: The Gambia

Type of visa applied for: settlement (wife)

Priority/Non-Priority: Non-Priority

Online application submitted: 11/03/2019

Biometrics submitted: 13 March 2019

Haven’t heard anything since. It has been 71 days (10 weeks)

Im still waiting for collection message. If a decision was made on 8th May then what is taking them long to return the passport? Also what does this mean for the vignette? When will the start date be?

Im trying not to think the worse.
How you know the date decision was made??

I called UKVI on 10th May and was told by the operator that a decision was made with STATUS DATE 8th May. The operator said that its not the exact date of decision but the latest date on their computer.

I also called my local MP today whose secretary called the home office. He was told the same that a decision was made around 8th May and they would get back to me within 5 days. They also said they would ask visa post (whatever that means), why my wife’s passport hasn't been sent back.

I also called UKVI yesterday and escalated.

Everything seems very strange.

Hi revathykanickaraj,
Yes unfortunately it is holiday on Monday but Vfs offices in India are open. I have been following your timeline and we have very similar dates. Hope our good news come next week or so. So stressed

How u guys are really handling the days to hear the result from UKVI...am so restless...didn't get any update after the Entry clearance officer email....very stressed....its only 42 days...
LOL I'm definitely not handling it well. I haven't even got the Entry clearance officer email and it's been 30 working days for me today. Thinking of calling them today and asking for an update. Some people have said that they have stopped sending the ECO email after a certain date but I've seen people getting it even long after the date I gave my biometrics on.
Hello,

They are still sending e-mail as of 22-May-2019.
Hi, I know and I submitted my biometrics on 9th April. I called them today, they said that my application is still being processed and I should get a decision within the next 30 working days. I have seen some people get their decisions without getting the ECO email

My wife lives a few hours aways from VFS Mumbai in India, so it would be a pointless trip if the passport isn't there. They don't even have a phone number which we can call to ask them. They really do make life very hard for us.

Anyway the home office official who my MP’s secretary spoke to, will get back to me within 5 days. I await to hear from him.

Anyone applied in January 2019 and still waiting a decision. It’s been 86 working days for me and I’m still waiting. They asked for additional document on 14th May and I submitted on 16th May but still waiting haven’t heard anything since then. Now it’s long bank holiday weekend ☹️

Do you know when the decision was made on your application? Have you called them and asked?
