Tier-2 Depended Visa Duration

Hi All,
I like to know what will be the time frame for my wife's dependent visa.. here is detail situation -

1. I am on Tier-2 Shortage Occupation Visa for 5 Years.. and will be expired on Feb 2024.
2. My wife is applying this month from New Delhi, India. And as per UKVI site, she might get visa from July 2019 to Feb 2024 (til end date if my Visa).
3. Problem is -- in Feb 2024 I might able to apply for ILR but my wife can't as she will be not in UK for 5 Years.. so my wife might need to apply for 3 years extension after my ILR and this is additional cost £1900 (£700 Visa fees + 400*3=£1200)...

what should I do now...
1. Shall I get 3 Yrs visa for my wife and then apply depended visa extension after 3 Years?? is that an option ??
2. Hope UKVI will approve my wife's visa for 5 years straight away i.e. July 2019 to July 2024?

Her visa will have the same expiry date as yours.

She can extend her tier 2 dependent visa once you get ILR and must apply before her visa expires.

She cannot apply for an extension that will be valid longer than your tier 2. The 3 year extension rule for dependents applies when you have ILR.

being only 4-5 months difference in travel .. I should have applied with my application to get both us same visa period and then would have applied for ILR at same time.

No it does not. She must have 5 years PBS dependent to qualify for ILR.
