Out of the the UK period for FLM(M) applicant

Post by sussexguy » Sun Jun 02, 2019 10:26 pm

Hi, My wife is currently on her secon extension of FLR(M) (as dependent of an ILR holder) and currently visiting India. Her renewal is not due until later but we would like to know if there is a mximum number of days (e.g. 90 days) she can stay out of the UK? I can't seem to get a guidance note on GOV.UK website that gives any information on this?

Also, what is the route and application she needs to pursue to get her settlement in the UK?

A prompt reponse will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

No there is no absence limit. She must apply under SET(M) and satisfy all the ILR requirements like the min required finances, min English language qualification at B1 level and pass the LIUK test

Many thanks for this. It’s great advice!

Is there a weblink to the information you have shared ( so that I can take a look at other requirements that need to be met)?

Thanks
