Uk immigration

Good day,

My grandfather was born in south africa but joune the raf and was a pow Under The raf in the 2nd world war.
He received medals and was monitored twice in the london gazette.
Do i qualify for a visa or immigration.

If anyone can assist please.

It is highly unlikely that you would qualify for any visa based on your grandfather's service.

An Ancestry visa requires that any one grandparent be born in the UK. As your grandfather was born in South Africa, you can't base an application for an Ancestry visa on him.

While he was in service with the RAF, he could have registered as a CUKC (Citizen of the UK and Colonies) - it would not have been automatic, but something he would have to apply for. If he did so, he would have received a registration certificate. Does he have such a certificate, to the best of your knowledge?
