The application for a new BRP will normally automatically trigger cancellation of the old one.smchen1113 wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2019 10:30 amI was just wondering if I can still use the old one or it’s been cancelled?
I am confused. Given that you say you applied online for the replacement single-use BRP visa, didn't you show that on entry?
Something went wrong somewhere because that is definitely not so. Indeed the whole point of the single use BRP visa is that you apply for it in the country where you have lost your BRP, so you can get back to the UK. It's a very common type of application because BRPs are often lost or stolen when students are travelling in Europe. The form is very basic, not "incredibly long", so I think you may have completed the wrong form -- or perhaps it was the correct form but you accidentally said you are currently in Taiwan.smchen1113 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 9:45 pmI did try to apply the single-use visa via www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk. After filling a incredibly long form, I found out that I can only attend the appointment in my own country (Taiwan).
