maintenance fund documents

Post by JESSIES » Tue Jul 01, 2008 5:01 pm

Hi

I read the UKBA website about the documents needed for the maintenance fund but I still confused :(
Do I need to give in my bank statements AND a letter confirming I have the required amount over a three month period. Or will the bank statement alone be sufficient?

Also I have $26,000 is my Australian saving account and £1500 in my English account. Should I just submit my English bank account details to save the hassle from getting overseas bank documents?

I am assuming that as long as you have £800 over a 3 month period that it doesn't matter about the amount right?

I am applying from with the UK.

UK bank statement(s) showing 800 pounds balance maintained everyday over a 3 month period will be sufficient. You don't need a letter from the bank ... unless you are submitting online statements. See here
