ILR Long Residence - 62 days short

Post by RRGSNR » Mon Jun 03, 2019 10:21 pm

Hello Members,

Could you please take some time to read and help me with my situation

I came to UK on 30/08/2009 as a student to do MBA, I completed my MBA and applied for PSW visa, got psw visa (Dec 2011 to Dec 2013).
From 26th June 2013 to 26th June 2019 on Tier 2 General Visa.
Tier 2 visa was from two different companies first one was 26th June to 2013 to June 2015 and second one is
from June 2015 to 26th June 2019.
I cannot apply ILR through Tier 2, as my first company license was revoked and taxes were not paid for about 6 months and also there was no money came into my bank account.
Now I am on my 6th year of Tier 2 visa. My current company was also suspended this March 2019 but was reinstated within three weeks. My current company suggest not to apply ILR through Teir 2.
To apply for ILR through 10 years route, I am short off 62 days.

My questions are:
1) When exactly can apply through 10 years route (before 28 days rule will it apply for me, as I don't have visa for that period)
2) What options do I have to apply?
3) Can I apply directly for ILR long residence with this 62 days gap?

I can only think of these questions, Could you please suggest me what would be the possible ways to do?

Many thanks

Apply under FLR(FP) before visa expiry then vary to SET(LR) on 02/08/2009 when eligible for ILR

Hello Every one,

If I apply ILR long residence route directly instead of applying first FLR and then varying with SET (LR).

Could you please suggest me, what are the complications will I have when I apply directly and whether is this the right thing to do with my current situation.

Many thanks
