Spouse Visa from Dubai

Please i have a question on behalf of my friend living in dubai. He and his 2 children have british passport and wife is syrian.He works in Dubai and his wife is housewife.
He wants to come back and live in the UK. What is the requirement and category in detail please to get his wife visa? what will be the duration of that visa?

Spouse need A1 English test.

British spouse must meet the financial requirement.

Spouse visa is for 2.5 years, then an extension ahs to be applied for.

See the Immigration Rules in the link below regarding meeting the financial requirements (which trumps the general Guidance) and in particular the following section:
5.2. Category A: With current employer for 6 months or more –
overseas sponsor returning to the UK

Moreover, if by any chance either of you got 6 months old savings of at least £62500 anywhere then can easily meet the financial requirement.
