Tier 2 (General) Visa - Priority Service delay

Hello,

I have submitted the biometrics on May 30th in India, and received the acknowledgement email on May 31st. However, I have received no updates thereafter. Ideally the application should have been processed within 5 working days. Any ideas on why the application processing is delayed ? Or when can I expect to receive any updates ?

Any help or inputs would be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your reply. I do understand that Priority Service doesn't guarantee a visa. I just wanted to understand the cause for delays. I also tried calling the UKVI contact number but couldn't even connect to an advisor even after around 25 mins of wait time.

We cannot tell you the cause. It could be a backlog or complex issues with your application

Did you choose non settlement priority service? I'm confused about settlement Visa and none settlement Visa priority service
