Biometrics appointment procedure for flr (m)

Hi Guys,

Could anyone that has been to an biometrics appointment since the new online only application came in, be able to tell me about the process.

I will be going to one next month and had a few questions.

1. Are you charged extra if you have the documents uploaded on the day instead of pre uploading at home?

2. If pre-uploaded before appointment, do you still take the document to the appointment with you?

3. If you do have to take the documents with you, do they go through these with you/ check them or the appointment is only for them taking fingerprints/photo?

1. Depends on the centre and sevice you chose online.

2. Yes, in case something needs to be rescanned for any reason.

3. They merely check or scan that they are correct. The do not check if what you submit is what the rules state etc.
