Seeing documents after they’ve been scanned

Post by anonymous1999 » Wed Jun 19, 2019 11:46 pm

Hi, my husband (the applicant) had our documents scanned and submitted at the VFS centre at his biometrics appointment. Is there any way for me to see what documents were actually scanned as I am doubting whether all the documents we handed in were scanned or not. (I know it sounds ridiculous).

I was on the phone to my husband during his biometrics appointment and could hear that the woman who was scanning the documents did not really know much about what needed to be scanned. She even said the cover letter written by our solicitor was not needed and my husband had to explain to her that it is as its the statutory declaration. Now I am left feeling worried about what she has done once my husband left the documents with her after the next customer arrived :(

I think that's the only biggest weak point in this new service where you cant get any acknowledgement as what has been scanned. Preferably it should be done even gets started far in advance by the applicant/sponsor.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
