IHS refund not received even more than 6 months after

October 2018 : While applying for my wife’s PBS Dependent Partner VISA through visas-immigration.service.gov.uk service, her application got stuck after making the IHS payment.
After logging in, it still displays “Your payment is being processed”

An amount of $410.90 USD had been deducted from my bank for IHS,
valid upto February 2020 (when my ICT VISA expires)

After waiting for a couple of days, I contacted UKBA through the charged telephone service,
Only to find out that it is a known issue with the service and I was redirected to the other service.

On the call, I was told that the money deducted previously (30,198 INR / $410.90) would be refunded within a month.
The transaction was done on 22nd October 2018 and I never received any formal acknowledgement about the refund (I have the transaction reference number)

On the second service portal (visa4uk), the IHS was deducted again ($409.88 this time)
And the applicant went through successfully.

However, the first transaction is still stuck. It still shows “Your payment is being processed”
And no update on the refund still.

Involve your bank too for reversing back that transaction. Usually the banks have such policies where they contact the merchant.
