You don't need a solicitor.would I need a solicitor for applying for this visa or can I apply by myself?
Not sure how complicated this visa type is?
Not hard if you meet the requirements and have all the evidence required, including proof of child's other parents death. Is it a straight forward visa or do I need someone's technical knowledge on this type of visas?
May I PM you?CR001 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2019 1:56 pmYou don't need a solicitor.would I need a solicitor for applying for this visa or can I apply by myself?

If I may ask, why have you not brought the child sooner than now?

Hichamppan wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2019 1:09 pmHI All,
May I Kindly ask you a favour to list the documents for a settlement visa for my son (Minor) to come and join me(British Citizen) in UK, I would appreciate your help in replying or pasting the relevant links if they have been answered, as I don't find them in here.
Look forward to seeing your valuable answers.

Child settlement visa as already advised!!
Can I apply from UK or should I only apply from the country where my son is residing at the moment?
Have you read the link at all?? The online link takes to the page which clearly states 'Appendix FM Child' and then follow the process as it is a 'settlement', 'settlement', 'child' visa. You also need Appendix 1. https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... ix-1-vaf4aWhen I am applying online what is exact link path i need to use?
Apply at the same time as your parent
You must apply online. You also need to complete Appendix 1, unless your parent is applying to enter the UK as the partner of:
a British citizen
someone with settled status
someone with leave to remain as a refugee
someone with humanitarian protection
If your parent is one of the above, you do not need to complete Appendix 1 as well as applying online.
Many thanks again for pointing out to me.CR001 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 9:17 amCan I apply from UK or should I only apply from the country where my son is residing at the moment?
You can complete the online form on behalf of the child but it has to be submitted and etc in the country the child is living.

Yes My name is on the birth certificate.
As I never maintained any documents to prove that I have been sole responsible for my son(14). How/what will I show to ensure that I have been the sole responsible for him.
Any suggestions from anyonechamppan wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2019 9:50 pmAs I never maintained any documents to prove that I have been sole responsible for my son(14). How/what will I show to ensure that I have been the sole responsible for him.
