When to submit documents?

Hi,

We’ve finally submitted our application (thanks for all the help!) online today in Shanghai.

We have all the documents ready but my partner is unable to book an appointment until 25th July so I’m not sure when we need to visit the VFS centre to have the documents scanned in?

Was sure I read somewhere that we need a copy of a document provided when my partner visits the visa centre before we scan the documents?

Are the biometrics taken here too as I also read about a 15 day window?

Appreciate any help about the timings (or what I need to do) once we’ve submitted the application!

Hi, what page will your partner have to scan/post to you once they have attended the biometrics appointment? Does it have to be posted or scanned?

The applicant should have received an email stating when they will need to send supporting docs. I submitted application yesterday and it states I need to send within two weeks after biometrics appointment.

Try to change the biometrics centre to find earlier biometrics appointment. Usually documents are being scanned and send to Sheffield after enrolling the biometrics but ask your local vfs centre as they might have such facility who can scan and send at the time of biometrics enrolment.
