Yes you are still subject to the 12 month cooling off period. Simply changing to a dependent visa does not change that. You need to hold the dependent visa for a full 12 month period before you can apply for a Tier 2 General visa from your home country. Now if my company is ready to sponsor a General visa for me , is there any cool off period ?
Now I am right in saying that the cool off period will end on 1st Jan 2020 ?
The cooling off period means that you must NOT have been on any of the Tier 2 visa as a main applicant for 12 months. There is no rule that the 12 months must be spent outside of the UK.Also considering that I am currently working in UK on dependant visa is the cool off period legit or should I spend the cool off period only in India ?
