Is a UK payslip mandatory for tier2 dependent visa application

Hi My husband reached UK 10 days ago. His BRP is still not available. I would like to initiate my dependent visa sponsored by employer. But since it's been only 10 days he doesn't have a UK payslip and will be available only at end of July. I would want to initiate my visa application now. So I would like to know if my husband's UK payslip is mandatory?

No it is not. You only need to meet the maintenance funds for 90 days requirement.

He has not stayed in UK for more than 10days now.

Your COS will work, if your maintenance has certified by company
