Post by aspirant910 » Wed Jun 26, 2019 1:22 pm

Immigration solicitor have told my spouse that they applied for 3 year CoS on behalf of the employer and home office granted for 2 years.i really doubt that.
Can someone please suggest if this is normal.
Thanks

So what are the dates of the CoS and work start/end date?

Start date - 1st August 2019
End date - 31st July 2021

I am little doubtful as is it normal for home office to grant the CoS less than requested duration ?

Likely the sponsor gave those dates. I would suggest she check with the employer.

HO will grant what is asked for, if the RCoS is approved at the monthly meeting.

It is the employer that has access to the SMS system and the holder of CoS.

I don't know the SMS system and don't work for HO.

Your HR cannot check your spouse rcos if its a different employer.
