Out of Country Tier 2 Dependent - process & document

Hi All,
My wife just got her tier 2 general visa. I was on ICT visa till last month and left the UK after my visa expiry. I will now be applying for a dependent visa. I believe there is no 12 month cool-off as I am applying for a dependent visa.

I need to ask about timelines - I read that it is generally 6 -8 weeks for out of country (I will be applying from UAE) -
1) Is there a priority service available for dependent visa on additional payment
2) While I will be providing evidence of marriage - Do I also need an English Language certificate for myself or is it not needed?

What date did your visa expire and what date did you leave the UK??

Cooling off period doesn't apply to dependent visas.

It varies but generally yes.

1) Is there a priority service available for dependent visa on additional payment

There is, no guarantee you will get it quicker though. Also, how long did you overstay your ICT visa?? This could potentially have an impact.

There is no English requirement for PBS Dependent visas.

But is an option for priority available - I read in some blog somewhere that out of country dependent visa does not have priority sevice if applied separately as main applicant

Don't believe everything you read in blogs somewhere. Follow UKVI website and guidance and VFS centre guidance.
