Tier 4 sponsored student IHS confusion

Post by Rochak0107 » Wed Jul 03, 2019 5:37 am

Hi there,

I received sponsorship through Erasmus. My main university is University of Glasgow. The Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies document states my course to be two years, which it is, however I will not be spending more than six months in the UK. I transfer universities every six months during the 2 years course.

But I still am being subjected to two years of IHS fees (Because of the dates in my sponsorship letter), when I will be only staying there for 5 months maximum.

Is there any way around this? Please help.

Either ask the university to amend the CAS, or apply as a Short-Term Student instead.
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.
