Tier 2 renewal and sick leave

Hi,

I have been living in the UK for 4 years, and have been on Tier 2 sponsorship for the last 2.5 years. My visa expires in January 2020 though I intend to stay in the UK. Unfortunately I have had some serious health issues and I have been on sick leave on and off for the past few months with a slightly reduced salary. I am aware that I don't need to report this as it is long term sick leave. However, I am concerned about my visa renewal in January - if I am on long term sick leave, will I be able to get my visa renewed? At that stage I would be receiving around 2/3rds of my salary.
