Same employer- switching from ICT tier 2 to General

My spouse have applied for T2 general visa while working for same employer. Her CoS start date is 1st August and have already filled the visa application. Now she is on leave for a week however, what will happen on her employment once she gets the new visa as I believe ICT dependent visa will no longer will valid.

She can only enter the UK from the start of her visa once granted and up to 14 days before work start date mentioned in CoS.

Is it legal for her to countiue work for same employer during this period between her new visa start date and date of application ?

Slightly irrelevant as she is out of the country.

Note, and I am sure this has been stated before in one of the many responses to you, there is no requirement to resign from an employer if changing from dependent to tier 2 general.
