For the documents, it is really confusing what I should put other than the mandatory documents.
I have seen a lot of people put bank statements and proof of addresses. How long of duration I should cover for?
Any other kind of "must" after the mandatory documents?
Stop reading other peoples ILR topics that are NOT long residence ILR applications. Different routes have completely different requirements and supporting documents. You only need to submit the very limited documents required for long residence ILR and not all sorts of other supporting documents!!

Are there any financial requirement for ILR (long resident) route?
The HO did not request any mandatory financial proof. But my employer said it is £35800 annually and because of this, it is delaying my application as I can only reach the above threshold next month.
Again, please don't confuse yourself by reading all sorts of topics not relevant to long residence ILR. There is NO financial requirement or minimum salary for ILR LR. Your employer is talking nonsense. The £35,800pa is ONLY relevant to ILR based on 5 years Tier 2!!
What is your full UK immigration history including all relevant visa start and expiry dates??
If there is a long delay, assuming you applied using the standard service, there might be something in your immigration history that is the cause.
