Dear All,
I am on a TIER 4 visa doing my Masters in Architecture from the University of Nottingham. The M. Arch degree is Postgraduate Taught degree and does not fulfill the RIBA Royal Institute of British Architects requirements.
A company wants to hire me as a sustainability architectural consultant. I saw the RQF Level 6 and under the SOC code of architects there is the job title of architectural consultant. The company is happy to sponsor me and issue me a CoS. The only thing I'm concerned about is that under the job salary options it says Part 1 salary, Part 2 salary and Part 3 salary. Based on my undergraduate degree and my this masters degree I can say that it is equivalent to Part 2 here but the thing is that its not RIBA. In the tier 2 application it doesnt say anywhere that for architects it should be RIBA or anything but still I'm concerned about it.
Will the company be able to get a CoS?
It would be great for architects to answer this question as they would be able to relate the question.
Thanks
