Validity of Employers letter

Post by Vohram » Tue Jul 16, 2019 11:48 pm

Dear all,

I have trawled through the forum but couldn't find definite answer.
What is the validity of employment letter? I am planning to apply for ILR in early Nov 2019. If I get the employment letter in early August (i.e. 3 months before I apply for ILR) would that be too dated?

Secondly my employer has refused to include the dates of absence on the letter. I read somewhere on this forum that tabulating dates of exit and re-entry with reference to pages on passport for stamps should suffice. Can the forum members please advise?

Thanks

If I am correct evidence should not be older than 28 days before you make an application.

Couple of quick questions on SET(O)

Post by Vohram » Sat Nov 02, 2019 11:05 pm

Dear forum members,
i have a couple of queries regarding my ILR application via the 5 year Tier 2 route. , would appreciate your help.

(1) My employer has refused to include the dates of absence from UK in the employer letter. I have read in the forum that a tabulated record of absences from UK with references to stamps in passport should suffice. Can someone here please confirm if this is indeed considered sufficient;

(2) Secondly, i am bit confused about the following question
Does the period of stay on which this application was based include any leave granted since 11
January 2018?

I entered UK in Nov 2014 in Tier 2 General. In May 2017 i changed my job which was when my current BRP was issued. Hence i think the answer to above question should be NO. Can someone please confirm.

Thanks
