Hi,
I am currently a Tier 4 PhD student in the UK and i have completed my Bachelor and Master in the UK during continuous leave. I have been working part time with a Tier 2 licenced company for last 6 months and they have offered me an opportunity to work full time with them to which i agreed. My employer will be issuing me with a COS on 2nd January and they will be putting 4th January as the job start date on COS as i will be withdrawing from my PhD on that date. I have the following two questions:
1. Will there be any issue considering that there is very little gap between COS issue date and job start date mentioned on it as my visa application will be under process on job start date?
2. As per my knowledge, i can only start working full time as a tier 2 worker from the date my BRP will become valid which means that the actual start date will be much later than the one mentioned on COS so will it cause any issues and do i or employer will need to notify UKVI about it?
