Switching from Flr hro to general tier 2 visa

Hi,

I got Flr hro visa for an year, I can work using this visa but I want to know if I can switch to tier 2 general or any other category in future?

Kindly guide me..

You have to apply from home country for tier 2 if you can get a sponsor and they can get a restricted cos approved by home office.

Thanks, hope cooling off period applies in this case for tier 2.

Yes you are subject to the 22 months cooling off period, ie 12 months of NOT holding a tier 2.
