Changing jobs after visa grant

Hi, my husband was granted a spouse visa a few days ago alhamdulillah. I now want to change jobs and my solicitor has told me not to until my husband gets here and collects his brp card as apparently he still needs to ‘show’ he meets the immigration requirements when reaching here. Is this true as the visa has been granted now so why does it matter and why does he need to prove this still?

Don't listen to that solicitor and feel free to change your job because your documents till the date of application matter although during the process of application its not wise to change job.

Okay, so I can definitely change jobs now before he comes and collects his brp card as he has been granted the visa? Will they definitely not do any more checks or anything?

Does my husband just go to the allocated post office then show his passport and just collect the card? Will they ask him any other questions?

Also, when he arrives in the UK, what questions will immigration ask him and does he need to show any other documents apart from his visa vignette in his passport?

Post office staff is not immigration. they will just ask for passport and visa approval letter

On arrival visa vignatte, TB test certificate (even expired) will be checked. General questions might be asked.

He doesn’t have a tb test certificate as he lives in australia and has been living there for more than the past 6 months. Is there any other documents apart from the visa vignette they want to see?
Will they ask about my employment?

nothing but still ideally approval letter & marriage certificate must be in handbag.

Maybe but it wont affect to given visa.
