Child born in Pakistan before i got ILR.

Post by Saqib123 » Fri Aug 02, 2019 9:40 pm

Hi Everyone,

I would be really grateful if you answer my query below.

I got British Passport after naturalisation in 2017.

My daughter was born in Pakistan but have been in UK along with my wife as Tier 2 dependants.

Their visas have now run out when they were in Pakistan.

I am applying for my Wife’s settlement visa but I don’t know which category would i apply for my daughter.

Will it also be a dependent visa or can i register her as a british?

Any information will be appreciated.

Thanks

Your daughter will follow the same 5 year (2.5 x 2.5) route to settlement (ILR) as her mother. They will each have to pay £1,523 in visa fees + £1,200 each for the NHS surcharge.

You will also be required to show minimum income of £22,400 p.a
