unpaid leave on Tier 2

Post by tier2genmisery » Sun Aug 04, 2019 11:08 am

Hi

My partner needs to take 1 week off work and travel abroad for the wedding. Her remaining paid leave balance is just not enough for the wedding preparations.

Is she allowed under Tier 2 visa to take a week off unpaid?
How would this affect her ILR application? How would she state this period of absence?

Note - She is not my dependant. She is on her own T2.
Note2 - Her actual salary is about 2 weeks worth above the number stated on her CoS.

Thanks
