The entire process from the minute I paid for the application, took 23 hours. It was worth the ‎£800.
I uploaded everything online myself (saved ‎£45 and lots of time). It was super simple to do so.
Booked my biometrics for first thing the following morning (lucky to get an appointment so late - only croydon was available)
I was in and out of there within 30 mins. The lady who submitted my application let me know that someone had picked it up right away as they can tell on their system (which was reassuring)
All in all, lost sleep and migraine for no reason....well, maybe for the off chance of potentially losing ‎£3208.20
