Great Regards,
Contrary to other posts about the scanning service, there is no requirement to take/provide copies.
Payment can be card or cash at the centre.
If in your experience you wasn't asked about originals then it doesn't mean that others will also not be asked about originals. Also taking supporting documents in original is wiser because even if you can't view them but UKVCAS staff can definitely view them and can re-scan & re-upload for you if they previously weren't done correctly. Different VFS center in different countries operate slightly different than other. Also a lot of VFS centres strictly dont accept cash.KristianDLloyd wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 8:13 pm

Not just my experience, I questioned this and was advised by a Manager at the centre that they accept copies OR originals.seagul wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 8:28 pmIf in your experience you wasn't asked about originals then it doesn't mean that others will also not be asked about originals. Mine answer covers wider than one VFS centre only. Also if you check other member's experiences then a lot of times they were later asked by UKVI to provide again the document despite they uploaded themselves earlier. Therefore, taking documents to centre is more wise. Even in uk different VFS centres different experiences.
Just for the safe side we will get some cash and monet in the bank aswell , if needed we can do card payment.seagul wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 8:28 pmIf in your experience you wasn't asked about originals then it doesn't mean that others will also not be asked about originals. Agreed, take originals. No requirement to produce copies. However note that the legislation/guidance was amended in late 2018 to allow for copies OR originals.
Archer1’s question related to the requirement at the VFS centre, not UKVI.Also if you check other member's experiences then a lot of times they were later asked by UKVI to provide again the document despite they uploaded themselves earlier. You need to re-read again the previous posts that it would be done through UKVCAS/VFS who will send documents electronically to them.Archer1 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2019 4:36 pmWe have done with the appointment today, next step will be to send all origional Documents to Shefield along with one copy of all, am I right ?seagul wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 9:00 pmon Applicantion form at top right hand corner. At VFS centre Mirpur , they scanned from original documents although my wife have had copies with her, they gave us origional back. they charged Rs.6000 for the service. After reading the above post and visting the link provided by you I believe we don't need to send our origional documents to Shefield address which is mentioned on the appointment letter. But when I am reading the appointment letter is sates we must send. The above paragraph in my last post was pasted from that letter, which is creating confusion. To send ot not to send. Mind is saying to send but in theory not to send.seagul wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2019 7:42 pmhttps://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/pk/en/vacs/ ... -documentsSettlement Supporting Documents

If that VFS centre has such facility of scanning and uploading then you dont need to send anything further to sheffield by post/by VFS from UK.
Yes,agreed. You are right and I highly appreciate all your help and support through out the process. But I was getting confuse when reading time lines in which almost all users have mentioned documents returned from Sheffield with mentioning dates. Thats why just for peace of mind I took thats step.
