Tier 2 General - ILR Unpaid Leaves + previous Employer

Post by KeepKalm » Fri Aug 09, 2019 9:31 am

Hi moderators and community users,

I am looking for some expert advice around portion of 5 year period spent with previous employers.
Maybe I am over thinking it, but here goes.

- I came to UK under ICT (established staff) category back in 2010 for an IT company CBC
- I switched to Tier 2 General on 12th September 2014 for IT company SBC
- I served my notice period and finished at CBC on 14th October 2014
- I was on Unpaid Leave from 15th October 2014 - 31st October 2014 within UK and started at SBC on 1st November 2014
- I switched again within Tier 2 General to a new and current company ABC on 26th November 2015
- My overall leaves outside UK are way below threshold; around 70days in 5years

So a few questions around this situation
Q1) Does my Tier 2 General ILR eligibility period starts from 12th September 2014?
Q2) Do I need to show any letters from CBC company for period covering 12th September to 14th October (I was serving my notice period)?
Q3) During the Unpaid Leaves I was in UK taking a break between jobs. Does SBC company need to confirm this on a letter?

Thanks in advance
