Tier 4 dependent to Tier 2 (General)

Post by batraashwani » Sun Aug 18, 2019 8:31 pm

Hi everyone, i am switching my visa from Tier 4 dependent to Tier 2 (General). Is it mandatory for me to get a UK NARIC certificate to prove my language proficiency. I read somewhere that if you have been granted a leave on any visa category you don't need to prove the language proficiency again. Is it true? When i came on Tier 4 dependent i submitted IELTS certificate with a score of 7. However it is expired now. Can i submit that again? Please help!!!

Thanks
Ashwani

Tier 4 dependent visa does NOT require the English language test.

You need to submit either UKVI NARIC Red Route for a foreign degree OR a UK degree OR an English test on the current HO approved test and test provider list that has not expired.
