Torist Visa for two countries

Hi,

My parents are going to visit me in UK on a tourist visa ? They are currently in India. They would also like to go to Ireland to visit my brother.
What I know is that Republic of Ireland doesn't come under UK.
In this situation do they require two seperate visas? Can somebody have two toursit visas( for two countries) at the same time? Do they need to apply for both visa from india or they can come to UK and then apply for visa to Ireland?

Yes, assuming that they are citizens of India, they will need separate visas for the UK and Ireland. There is no problem with having two tourist visas for two different countries at the same time – it's very common.

They shouldn't try to get an Irish visa while visiting the UK: the website of the visa pages of the Irish embassy in London notes that: "Visa applications should be submitted to the Irish Embassy or Consulate in, or accredited to, the country in which you normally reside."

The best thing to do would be for them to apply for a UK visa first and then for the Irish visa, in India.
