Need information on Ireland Work Visa process. Currently working in UK on Tier 2 ICT LT Visa.

Hi, I am an Indian currently working in UK on Tier 2 ICT Longterm visa. I am employed with company A (full-time employment, Tier 2 ICT visa sponsor) working at company B (client) in UK. Now, if company B (client, trusted partner) offers me a job in their Ireland office and I want to apply for Ireland work Visa:

1. Do I have to go back to my home country India to apply OR I can apply from UK?
2. How long the standard work visa process takes? Is there a fast track visa process available?
3. Can my spouse work in Ireland on a dependent visa?

You can apply from the UK if you have received a firm job offer.

You need to apply for the employment permit instead of the work visa first. There is no fast track. Trusted partner scheme is the fast track. Current processing time for critical skills trusted partner is 3 weeks.

If your employment permit is approved, you need to then apply for a work visa. The workaround time depends on your local embassy’s capacity. Your spouse can join you and work in Ireland without another work permit.
