Incorrect name and mistakes after receiving IRL

I have just been approved for indefinite leave to remain and have received my biometric residence permit card which has come in my middle name and not my last. What is the best way to go about this on getting it correct because I sent them enough evidence in the application process to put it in my new last name also even my passport is in the correct name which should be matching with my biometric card so I can travel... Has anyone been in a similar position? How long does it take to process if I send back to them immediately after notifying them about their mistake as I need my biometric card as soon as possible in the correct name??

If there’s a problem with your BRP when it arrives, report it within 10 days. Otherwise you may have to apply and pay for a replacement. If your name is long it may appear ‘cut off’ on your BRP. This is not a mistake - it is because there is limited space on the BRP card. However, if there’s a spelling mistake, you must report it.
