I am due to submit my application for the ILR SET (P). My question is that I have lost my expired Pakistani Passport as well as national identity card. I went to the police station to report my lost passport but they refused by saying that we do not take lost passport applications.

I NEVER applied for the new one (Pakistan Passport)

What do I have to do in this regard.
I can provide them the copy of the passport and ID card.

Would that be enough to say....
Do you not have travel document? Normally they will see all the stamps and scan your passport or travel document to see where you have been , I think it will look suspicious if you said you lost , hey I'm not an expert. If you have money use a solicitor.

You dont need a passport nor it is a requirement if you are on refugee visa.Just send you BRP &proof of address.Payslips&bank statements or irrelevant to this application. Also send a letter mentioning you still need protection ,dont explain all reasons that you have done during asylum .Goodluck.Most refugees get ILR easily.

I am not a refugee but I am on HUMANITARIAN PROTECTION for 5 years.

In the online application it says DO U HAVE A VALID PASSPORT,
My answer is NO
Then they asked can you provide detail of your most recent passport expired passport
My answer is YES : Detail Provided
Next Question asked CAN YOU PROVIDE THIS DOCUMENT IF REQUIRED
My answer is NO....

Now my question is this DO I need to explain in the covering letter that it has been lost But I can provide them with the copy of that passport......or just simply do not mention it....

Yes I think better explain to them it is lost.It is not a big deal. They dont need your passport anyway. They already have your details when granted you HP.Goodluck.

Thanks London22

I have submitted my ILR SET (P) application online.

Application Submitted Online: 24/08/2019
Application Submission Mail Received: 24/08/2019
Biometric Appointment Date: 28/08/2019

As I mentioned earlier that I had lost the expired passport but I provided them the copy of the passport and also submitted the Police Report for their reference.

I wanted to have the super priority service but I was not given the option. Free dates to go for biometrics was way too far so I purchased early date 28/08/2019 for £100.

CAN ANYONE TELL THAT WHAT WOULD HAPPEN NEXT AFTER BIOMETRICS?
I MEAN WOULD I GET AN EMAIL AGAIN OR SIMPLY WAIT .... OR WHAT?????????

Hello Imitiaz
Aftet biometrics HO will send you confirmation email that your application has been submitted &wait for decision within 6 months. Most refugees get ILR granted in 3months.HP can take same time or 6 months.Hope to get decision in 6 months.HO will update you every month via email. If dont get a decision in 6 months see you MP as it happens in complex cases.HO some times ask people to go back as their country are safe but people challenge it in court and get ILR provided if they still need protection.Dont worry.Share here when you get ILR .all the best.

I do not know but i think in second half of the year things goes slower i say that because when i look at the last two member who's been successfully guaranteed ILR time line for both took more then 3 months.

Hi guys,i have submitted Set(P) application for myself, wife and a child (mt family have joined me via family reunion route) and received 1 reference number for all 3 applications. i am the main applicant and added my family as a dependants.
I can not find any declaration page to sing, all i have got is 3 pages consent forms and i believe these the only need to signed.
my Question is which part and who need to sing it and do i need to upload them in UKVACS site?
i downloaded these forms and it does not say any name on it, it is like general consent for and i am confused which form and who need to sign them ? me? my wife?

Part 1: Consent for the Home Office to verify application information
You (the applicant) should sign the Part 1 consent, and relevant other parties should
sign Part 2 and 3, where they are relevant to your application. You must send them
with your supporting documents If you fail to do, your application may be refused.
PART 2: Consent for the Home Office to verify third party information
If any information or documentation provided n is in the joint names of the applicant
and another person (or persons), the joint owner should sign the following
declaration:
The above-named person (‘the applicant’) has given the Home Office information or
documentation and agreed that the Home Office can check that such information or
documentation is genuine and/or correct. I am a joint owner with the applicant of
some or all of that information or documentation.
Name and address of joint owner
PART 3: Consent for the Home Office to verify information from third party
sponsor
If the information or documentation relates to another person or persons who is to
provide the applicant with financial support, that person or persons* should sign the
following declaration:
I have agreed to provide financial support to the applicant as set out in the
application form. I have provided information or documentation to support the
application. I understand the Home Office may verify the information or
documentation which has been provided.
Name and address of financial sponsor

I’m not expert but I think consent 2 means If u have anything like bank statement or council tax as joint account, for example yours and your wife’s name on bank statement then I think your wife will need to sign consent 2.

Consent 3 is I think if you have someone supporting u financially, then that person will need to sign that consent, for example if they have provided their bank statement as proof that they are supporting u financially then they will sign consent 3.

Consent 1 is for u only.

Again, not an expert but what I understood from reading.

Hi Ebii,
I applied on 17/05/2019 online and got confirmation of application same date, had my biometrics on 10/06/2019. I have only received one email one monthly update on 17/06/2019, after that no progress update.
It's been 3.5 months now and now I am starting to get bit worried. When you get your approval letter please update on board as I have applied a day after you so probably get a reply soon after you.
Thanks

URGENT PLEASE REPLY

Post by Ank92 » Mon Sep 16, 2019 3:50 am

Hi everyone I have 3 urgent questions please reply if you see this and know the answer.

I have to submit my application this week for ilr.

I was taken to civil court last year as I was unable to pay the rent.

On SET P application it says I need to tick if I was taken to a civil courst for outstanding debt. Shall I tick the box or leave it ?

I also looking for jobs and if I send both my residence permit and travel document then I have no form of ID to show to any place and they wont hire me.

Can I say that I have lost my travel document ? Or would it be an issue ? I like to keep it for ID purposes.

I have debt of 560 pounds to HMRC for previous benefit claim that I closed. Would that be a problem ?

Anyone gone through safe return review ? What is it ? How is it ?

Thank you all

Dont worry about civil court but tell them truth.HMRC debt isnt a worrying thing too.You are not required to send any documents brp or travel docs to home office when you apply online. If you tell them truth they will grant you ILR in 3 months &wont delay it &if you hide some info &they find it they are likely either to delay or refuse. There are people with minor crimes, even making national passports ,ccj, have been granted ILR.

Hey guys, long time lurker here. Finally decided to get an account because I'm so anxious.
Sent my application 05 July
Appointment 09 July

I tried looking in this board and I'm really worried because I haven't my sent Travel Document and BRP off, but it was scanned at the appointment so I thought that was enough but I'm having second thoughts. Page 157 people say no need but around mid-July pages say you do? Also, I sent my consent form really late, 03 August- I couldn't find it for ages and it wasn't on the checklist so I was confused. I applied alone without an immigration adviser which I realize now was kind of stupid urgh. The UKVCAS site is soooo uphelpful I can barely access any info.
Can anyone assure/advise me? They have my contact details so I wish they would contact me but seems like they'd hate nothing more. Can't believe they stopped doing the monthly updates literally the month I applied, I'm literally so anxious about it all  .
