Spouse Visa extension

Post by Lilly1 » Sat Aug 31, 2019 3:10 pm

Hello, I have a question please,

I attended my appointment last Wednesday at croydon office. I did my biometrics and the guy at the counter didn't take any documents or asked me to sign or take a picture ( I did everything by myself before when I entered the office). Also he didn't take my passport or my biometric card.
I uploaded all the documents by myself and the appointment was free of charge. I am a bit worried that he didn't ask to take my passport and my BRP.
Was this ok or do I have to contact the ho and submit my passport and biometric card? Thank you
Please note that I am applying for a spouse visa extension.

If you have scanned and uploaded the documents yourself and you haven't bought any service of document check then they (UKVCAS) won't ask anything rather will forward them electronically after biometrics. Under new system no original document is sent to UKVI
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Also remember that despite the original passport & BRP remain with you during the process and even the visa hasn't expired yet but you can't travel otherwise the application will be withdrawn.
