Old brp card-what to do

Hello,

I was on Tier 1 entrepreneur visa which expired on January 2017 and after that, I received Tier 4 student visa which I applied from India. I got my new BRP card from the post office in the UK but I did not receive any letter stating that returning the old BRP card.

Can anyone please suggest what should I do with the old BRP card? It has been more than 2 years now but still not received any letter. Currently, I am on Tier 2 general visa but I still have the previous Tier 1 BRP card with me. Can anyone please suggest regarding this issue?

No requirment to send an expired brp card back.
