ILR for dependent who have not completed 5 years

Post by Monika_tyagi » Sun Sep 01, 2019 10:20 pm

Hi All,
Hope you are doing well.

I am due to apply for ILR in September 2020, my dependent who joined me in UK after 6 months of my arrival on UK.
I have a query regarding applying ILR for my dependent who have not completed 5 years with me here in UK.

Would I be able to apply for my husband at the same time I am applying ILR ? Or
What are the options we will have for him to stay with me, if his dependent Tier 2 visa gets expire in Oct 2020?

Hopefully I will get ILR before my BRP expires in Oct 2020 and will he be able to get extension as dependent of me after getting ILR?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards
Monika

Your dependant needs 5 years for ILR. So he needs to get an extension and then apply for ILR when eligible
