ILR Approved Recently, Queries regarding family members

Post by scher » Tue Sep 03, 2019 4:38 pm

Hi I have recently received my ILR based on my 10 years of stay in UK. I have switched from Tier 2 general visa to ILR. My wife came to UK on Oct 2014 on Tier 2 General Dependent visa , her initial visa was valid till 2017 and then we got extension for her Tier 2 General Dependent visa successfully and her current Tier 2 General Dependent visa will be expiring on 24/1/2020.

Now we would like to apply for her flr(m) visa ..is this is correct application form to use ?

My son who born in UK on dec 2015 has Indian birth certificate and Indian passport currently staying in India along with his grand parents, my son left UK on August 2016.
Now I would like to apply for his British Citizenship using MN1 application ..is this is the correct application form to use?

Also I would like to start my wife's flr(m) application and my son's MN1 application Simultaneously or at the same time..is this is ok to do? or I just need to wait until my wife's flr visa approval and then go ahead with my son's British Citizenship using MN1 application...please clarify on these queries..
thanks in advance,
scher

Yes, and she needs to meet the English and financial requirements.

Please ask your British citizenship questions in the British citizenship sub forum.

Two completely separate and independent applications. However, the financial requirement is higher (which you presumably meet as a previous tier 2 migrant) if you have non British children.

Your income is sufficient even though only applying for your spouse and you need a minimum of 6 months payslips if you have been with the same employer for 6 months or more

There is no maintenance funds requirement for flr m.

Citizenship doesn't have maintenance or income requirements either.
