Visa "Application" date

Post by raheem_ehsan » Tue Sep 03, 2019 11:20 pm

Hi Everyone,

I am applying for a tier 2 extension. My last date of visa expiry is on 27th of September but the end date on the CoS was 13th of September.

Now, when I am applying online, the earliest date available at the core visa centre is around 4 weeks which is near to my visa expiry date.

My question is what date is considered for my application. The date at which I submit my online application or the date at which I attend at the appointment?

I certainly do not wish to overstay and ruin my application. Please help me urgently.

Thank you.

Date you submit and pay online is the date of application.
